Can anyone please explain to me this whole Barnes and Nobles discount thing? I mean I dont even understand wich website I should look up. I want to buy a Lenovo Y510p and I heard this Barnes and Nobles discount a lot at forums but never a link or some direction on how to get it. =/

If I Google "Barnes and Nobles" + discount, gold, laptop, etc I dont get any clue to what I am looking for.

    Thanks.

All you have to do is sign up and buy the laptop. That's it. At least, that's all I ever had to do when I used BN.

Does anyone know if one can combine a student discount with the B&N discount? My apologies if I've missed this otherwise in the thread.

You can't. It would be a ridiculously awesome discount if you could. 15% is the lowest discount you should get. You can get lucky and score 20% after some time.

You could always try to simply haggle with Lenovo over the phone while using existing discounts. I was able to do that and, along with BN and the email newsletter discount, was able to get a very sizeable perfectage off my last purchase with them.
