Today I saw that Lenovo has a 20% discount on the T400 so I nabbed one. I think I did pretty good for $680 before tax. I remember paying almost 2 grand for my T40. I was thinking about waiting for the T410 but it will probably be much more expensive and I dislike the lower resolution on their screens.

nice deal.

Back in? The T40 is pretty old school (I own a Dell D600, model generation newer and I find that old school). What did you have before your very recent purchase?

Welcome back!

The servers are crashed!

Called up Lenovo and both their phone and online sales are having trouble. The Cyber Monday deals are extended to until Tuesday midnight. I'm going to totally snatch a T400 tomm!
-
Any idea whether the 20% off coupon for the T400 at
http://www.notebookreview.com/coupons/
will still be good? -

Sorry to say the site is still not working properly...
If this continues I'm going to waiting til after Christmas... -
I have been trying to decide between this laptop and a Sony Vaio. I was ready to jump on the 20% all day yesterday, but couldn't get through the purchasing process (website crash). I was so excited that Lenovo had decided to extend the sale, however when I went to check out this morning it says the coupon is no longer valid! UGH! It looks like they even posted a new coupon code, but that does not work either.

I have checked the new lenovo coupon, USPTHINKHOLIDAY and it's working, but only gives you 15% off.
I went ahead and buy a T400 from the outlet store.
Here's the config:
Intel C2D T8700 (2.54GHz), 14.1" WXGA with webcam (I guess CCFL backlight), 3GB DDR3 RAM, 160GB 7200rpm HDD, bluetooth, intel 5300 wireless card, 9 cell battery, DVD burner, all for $700. Not a bad deal since is a "new" unit, not refurbished/redistributed. -
It looks like I'm going to have to wait.
I can't even get their site to work. -
Lenovo site is back up and fully working
Just saved my quote for a T400 using CPP + the 20% off giving me a grand total off of 28%
If you're going to order today, I'd suggest you do it right now! -
Are we only allowed to enter 1 coupon code?
I'm at the Canadian site, and I only seem to be able to enter the CAPTSERIESHOTDEAL they have on the site. Can't seem to enter the USPTHINKHOLIDAY.
Also what's the purpose/advantage of converting to price quote and showing it to a customer rep. ? -
CAPHOLIDAYGUIDE should also get you something... I just see it on lenovo's website... not sure what it does...
-
You can only use one coupon code at a time. Also coupon codes are regional so Canadian codes and American codes will not work for each other.
