Sup y'all, I'm running my new t60 w/ the x1400 graphics card. Last week I was surfing the web and I got the BSOD w/ "NMI: Parity Check / Memory Parity Error ". Afterwards I used pc doctor to check my ram and graphics card. The ram checked out fine but my graphics card failed the memory test every time. According to the thinkvantage software I'm up to date, so I'm wondering, whats the next step?

So what, I should send it back to lenovo? I stated that I'm up to date on all my drivers, this thread doesn't help one bit.

The problem is ATI drivers Lenovo won't do **** for you. They'll wipe your drive upgrade the bios and give it back to you. Best thing is to figure it out on your own. Either try to get he latest software for your card from ATI or somewhere else and also update your BIOS trust me I feel your pain. The other solution is to uninstal the ati software and use a generic driver which would stop this software BSOD issue. Just to see what they say call them and send it in? BUT BEFORE YOU DO BACK UP ALL YOUR SOFTWARE AS THEY WILL EITHER WIPE YOUR DRIVE OR REPLACE IT I FREAKIN LOST MAJOR FILES MAN. I REPEAT SAVE ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS AND STUFF AS WHEN YOU GET YOUR TP BACK IT WILL BE LIKE THE DAY YOU STARTED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME. GOOD LUCK AND KEEP ME POSTED.
BSOD once, shame on me?
