The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    BIOS updates disappeared off site

    Anyone know what this is about? It's happened recently, as I was just accessing this page a few days ago:

    "The ThinkPad BIOS updates have been temporarily removed from the web. Lenovo is investigating reports of problems associated with the BIOS installation process. Updated versions will be made available as quickly as possible which correct these problems. Users already at the level described in this tip do not need to revert to a prior level. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

    Old links to the T61 bios give a 404 now.

    The day I get the laptop, they take bios updates down.
