    I found this out from a friend - use coupon code employee48hour and it generates quite a big discount - my T60 WS that I ordered nearly 3 weeks ago that I paid about $2166 is now $1622!!! I emailed my rep @ Lenovo hoping that i can get this SWEET price match!

    Has anybody tried the code? Do they check anything?

    It lowers the price of the T60p I'm looking at to about $1500, and I might go ahead and pull the trigger. Any idea when it ends (I assume it's only 48 hours, obviously)?

    Thanks for the quick reply. I went ahead and purchased; almost the exact same T60p config as yours, except XP Pro instead of Vista, and the 100GB 7200rpm HD. "Estimated price" is $1600.

    Now if only I didn't have a month to obsess about it coming.

    You'll want to disable smart deep sleep on the wired ethernet as soon as you get your laptop to avoid wireless issues.

    These are good deals, almost as good as mine (10 dollars more plus waiting with same config)... I hope you all get good screen copies.

    I wonder is there a way I can ask them to put a 15" standard on mine isntead of 15.4" -- I hate widescreens based on the LCD panel I have for my desktop.

    I couldnt find the 15" standard under the T60p section on their website.

    The sale is over unfortunately. Unless you added it to your cart during the sale period, then saved your cart as I did. This allowed me to purchase my T60 WS on saturday, after the sale had ended at the sale price.
    There are several sites that just report deals and coupons, but this has been one of the first coupons lenovo has had in a long time.

    Someone tell me if I'm wrong, but if your if a T60p 14" non-widescreen is no longer offered then you cannot get a price-match reduction.
