I have a IdeaPad B575, and the screen flickers on occasion. There are flashing horizontal lines on the LCD.

I thought it was software at first, so I reinstalled everything, and it disappeared for a while. But today the flickering lines issue is back, and I am concerned that my LCD is dying or my graphics chip is dead.

I don't use the computer in hot conditions, and this computer doesn't run hot anyway ...

What should I do? If I get an RMA from Lenovo, do I have to pay return shipping?

My B575 of 7 months does that on occasion. Happens too rarely and randomly to be a screen defect if you ask me, I've tried pushing the screen around and whatnot to replicate it, it just happens sometimes randomly. It's not terribly annoying either IMO. My system also runs cool, 55 degrees max when playing skyrim, mostly fanless in normal use. I attributed it to a software problem as when it happens, its always with IE9.
