This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     B51-80 isn't recognising USB devices after a Windows 7 install

    The laptop originally came with Windows 10, which I removed and reinstalled with Windows 7.

    I've downloaded all of the drivers from the Lenovo website, however it won't recognise USB devices (on both the USB 3.0 ports and USB 2.0 port)

    In the BIOS it recognises a USB drive though. Plus there's also a lot more things which are missing in device manager

    Ethernet controller (didn't bother installing the driver for that), PCI device, 4x Unknown Device.

    The drivers I installed are VGA, WLAN, Chipset, Intel Management Engine Interface Driver, USB 3.0, Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver.

    I have no idea what to do right now. Is there another place to get drivers from, because the Lenovo site is terrible compared to others.
