    I just got a deal on the 2007C5U via the education page on lenovo's website... specs are:


    - Core Duo T2500 2 GHz
    - Windows XP Pro
    - 512 MB of Ram (Getting 512 more)
    - HD 80 GB
    - DVD-Writer
    - Gigabit Ethernet
    - Bluetooth, 802.11a/b/g
    - fingerprint reader
    - 14.1" TFT SXGA+ (1400 x 1050)
    - x1400 128mb video card
    - academic software(not sure what that is exactly)
    - 3 year warranty

    List price: $2,599

    My price: get this... 1,595 before tax and shipping :eek: ... thatÂ’s quite amazing if I do say so myself. They are going to reserve it with that price and I'm going to buy it sometime in the next week. My school is also going to pay atleat $200 of that. All I can say is :D :cool: ;), all at the same time

    i just wish their top of the line T-series was widescreen.
    that's just the future, and it's easier to carry around too.
    i know the new Z series is coming, but it's not gonna have the quality of their flagship t series

    Hey, I tried looking for some T42s... and the prices look ridiculous. Maybe becasue i put in "NY" for Higher education
