Recently, I purchased the thinkpad having following configuration -T8300(2.4GHz), 1GB RAM, 160GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1440x900 LCD, 128MB nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, FPR, 6c Li-Ion, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 SP1

I changed the OS to XP Pro SP3. I downloaded all the latest drivers. But there is a strange problem-the internet is too slow even slower than dial-up connection (I am using Vodafone DSL using Arcor 400 easybox router with cable). But, the thinkpad is working perfect with other connection (as for example o2 or t-mobile). It does not work with my DSL connection from Vodafone. Please also note that the connection works fine with other laptops though!!!! I am totally frustrated. The vodafone official said the connection is ok and lenovo seems to claim that there is no problem in the thinkpad (as far as I understood by calling lenovo Germany). I don,t know what to do.
