    Hello,

I just got my R61, with the plain WXGA. I was wondering if I could attach an external monitor to it to get higher resolution when I will be playing games. The WXGA on the Thinkpad only goes to about 1280 x 800, which is fine (because the screen is too small for gaming anyways), and I was wondering if I attach the computer to a 1600 x screen, will I get that resolution?

I've got my T61 with internal graphics, connected to an external monitor and it's showing 1440 x 900. That's the highest resolution listed in Display Properties. I'm not sure if that's a limitation of the graphics card or my monitor.

Did you install the display drivers for your external monitor?
