Just wondering what you guys think of my Temps? Using Hardware Monitor Pro..My model is a Lenovo 3000 Series G530-444623U. Also I've tried encoding on this laptop and it seems to hold a steady 59/60c at full load.

What is your ambient temperature (temperature of the room you're using the laptop in)?

That temperature looks okay, and your load temperature is good. Don't worry about it.

Then I would say your idle temperature may be a bit on the warm side, but still nothing to worry about at all. Your load temperature is fine.

Well my idle temps usually idle around 39-48. I have never seen it go over 50 while browsing and such. I dont have a notebook cooler pad or anything it just lays flat on my desk.

yeah, if it idled 55-60c then i'd be alittle concerned.. but it never even gets past 60c when encoding at full load.

My T61 gets 63C at full load with CPU undervolted with a new coating of MX-2. The fact that ambient temp is maybe 26C or more, is hot in here.

Those temps are fine, but you can always get TPFan Control if you like to keep them a bit lower. It should still work okay on a 3000 series.

Also, if you have power manager options to lower your CPU throttle, then you might as well pick a lower speed when all you're doing is browsing or other similar light activities. Even on AC power I still keep my processor underclocked almost 30% of the time just to keep its temp lower.

I forget the exact thermal specifications but I think it was something like 70C as the recommended max temp for most core 2 duos. (Someone help me out here if I'm wrong.)

I was thinking close to the same. The temperatures are close to warm but within tolerance.

They may be a bit warm, but nothing to get to worried about. Have you dusted lately? What surface do you use the PC on?

Im just quoting you for your awesome avatar. :D
