Not in size of RAM or hard drive, but in the quality of the display. I'm interested in a T60 for photo editing. I found this comment in a Rob Galbraith article: "The finest laptop screen for photography we've ever owned is the 1400 x 1050 pixel Flexview display in a ThinkPad T60. That screen owes its colour sweetness to the underlying In Plane Switching (IPS) screen technology."
Do all T60's have that?

here u can see, which screen type is built into which model:

ull notice, not every T60 got flexview, it depends on screen size and resolution. -
The 15" T60 used a few screens, but there was only one SXGA+ Flexview made by LG-Philips, as far as I remember. The other Flexview screen was UXGA coming from different suppliers. There was also a XGA option which wasn't IPS.
Btw, this is an interesting comparison (the second one on the left is the one you're asking for).

Also, you will find more information about the Flexview screens on ThinkPads forums.

Nope -- and as far as I know, they're not making any more. I have a regular 14.1" T60 and while the screen is not terrible, I wouldn't want to retouch photos or do graphic-intensive work on it.

^^David, nice to see that you are still alive!
Btw, Flexview was only 15", so the 14.1" T60 models didn't have IPS screens.
Are all T60's created equal?
