I'm trying to grab an x230 or t, and can configure the x230 (non-tablet) for about $770 with an i5-2310, IPS screen and 2-year accidental warranty. This is using their cybermonday coupon.
However, I also have a 20% off coupon I can use from my employer, but it will not stack. Now I know I am asking for a lot...but there really is no point to the EPP program if the discounts offered to everybody are better than what is offered to employees, or if they do not stack somewhat.
I know others have gotten the x230 for much cheaper than $770, even with a slice tablet, I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas how. Thanks.
Also, is this a good price for the x230? What would be a good price for the tablet variant? Once I configure the IPS, backlit keyboard, camera, and 2-year warranty, I'm looking at $1000 after discount, and that doesn't sound too great.
Thanks!

Back in the day when ThinkPads were more expensive, EPP was usually the least expensive way to get one, but as they've dropped in price, that's become increasingly less true. It's Lenovo's discount. They may do as they wish. You can of course wait for a better price, which you may or may not find, but then you deny yourself the use of the machine now, which has value. Getting the lowest price ever is always tough to do. If you want to get your coupon stacked, you'll probably have to call sales to see if they'll allow it.

Ok, will do. Since the Helix that's coming out will be 11.6" from what I hear, I think the x230 is what's right for me.
Thanks
Apply EPP on top of coupon? (for x230/t)
