Has anyone noticed that clicking the free WXGA+ upgrade for the 14.1" when customizing the Thinkpad R61 will automatically check the Bluetooth upgrade and thereby adding ~$30 to the total? You can't uncheck the Bluetooth option after selecting the screen upgrade either.

Unless Lenovo can explain why WXGA+ screens need Bluetooth in order to work, somebody screwed up!

Try again. I just configured another one with the same options. Works fine. Maybe its some other option you have.

    I'm talking about R61, not T61.

By the way, I also just ordered a T61 (before that "sale" ended) and right after it passed 12:00 AM EST, I totally got shafted. The prices for the T61 are actually LOWER now!#%@$^!!!!!

When Lenovo claims they're having a sale, they're implying at the least that when the sale ends, their prices will go back up or stay the same, not get even cheaper. That's false advertising and I will make sure they cancel my order tomorrow. You should too.

As false as it may be, it's awesome for people who waited for purchasing.
Canceling your order would be the best option to perform. Heh, you can add some better upgrades now :D.
