Even GPU-Z doesn't recognize it. Basically I want to enable the GTX 660m at will. I used to be able to do this with my Dell XPS Studio is there a way to do it in the Y580?

Of course GPU-Z recognizes it. You have to select from the drop down box near the bottom of the window.

Not sure how to manually enable it though.

Go to Nvidia Control panel -> 3D Settings -> Global Setting (under Preferred graphic processor, select Nvidia GPU) -> Program Setting (select Nvidia GPU for all programs you have ran or listed under program.

    Good luck.
