Just wondering if anyone have a T400 with a 4-cell battery and "P" series processor and how much battery life you get with wifi on and brightness to 50%

Mine is T9400 with 4-cell and I get 2.20 hrs with the above settings. Trying to figure out how much 25W processor can save.

well i know T9400 is 35W against the 25W P series.. so i guess a 28% increase in battery life?? not sure how it works really.

The wattage rating does not mean the processor uses that all the time. It is the TDP which is basically the maximum output that needs to be cooled. So that means the 25 or 35watt is the maximum. You would need to see how the processor consume/put out power in regular usage. But real world examples would obviously be best.
