Are they any good? I'm looking at a replacement for my Dell's desktop keyboard, and it's the same price as the Dell.

Key feel and typing speed and accuracy are paramount to me. Any other favorite keyboards? Thanks for any advice.

Lenovo desktop keyboards are nothing special, don't expect something of thinkpad calibre. You're probably best off getting a Microsoft or Logitech keyboard.

Yeah, the new IBM/Lenovo keyboards are pretty plain jane, except for being black. They're better than a lot of cheapo keyboards, but not anything special.

You really want one of these or one of these. I was just about to buy one of them before I managed to get my RS/6000 keyboard working again...

Yeah, I noticed those in another thread. They look good, except I need a quiet keyboard since my office is next to our baby's room. The Quiet version of those only comes in white, and everything else in my computer is black.

Then again, so what? Maybe I'll try it...

I've had the IBM USB Enhanced desktop keyboard for a couple years now and really like it. I guess it's the same one they sell today. There are two USB ports on the keyboard. No problems and I can hammer away on it. I don't like mushy or soft keyboards and this one fits my preferences well.

I initially purchased this because it was one of the few, actually the only USB keyboard I could locate at the time. I found it online.

Hey max_power, thanks. How is the noise after a couple of years? My Dell keyboard has gotten sort of creaky and clackety.

The noise level hasn't changed at all over time. The keyboard is extremely quiet.
