Since I'm running Win7 64-bit with only 2gb of ram, its time to upgrade.

Has anyone tried this from PNY? Or heard of PNY?

How about this from Gskill? I see in the reviews that there has been compatibility issues with the X200, would this be the same for my T400?

    How about this Kingston?

Is it worth paying more for this Kingston that has a cas latency of 5, vs. 7 for all the ram above?

I would buy this Crucial that everyone seems to recommend, but its not available from Newegg Canada.

    Thanks for your help.

cas=5 or 7 has no difference in real life

all the brands are more or less the same as well, but out of those three i'd probably go for kingston

that said i would prefer "adata" even more (if available)

and whatever you get, test the bejeezus out of it with memtest86+ or whatever you have. The UBCD is a good resource (Ultimate Boot CD).

Thanks for all the advice, I went with the cheapest kit from PNY.

I'll post my results when I get it so that anyone else will know whether to buy it or not.

I got the Crucial one because it had a good warranty and good reviews. I didn't go for PNY because I had several issues with their USB sticks.
