    Core Duo
    Dedicated GPU
    14" widescreen IPS
    DVI output

Asus W3J is pretty close... but it's not Thinkpad.
Maybe Z62t will have these specs?
Will Z**t series ever get a dedicated GPU?

By the way, for those of you who own a z60t, are you guys satisfied with z60t as to performance and build quality?

I doubt the Z62t will have a better GPU or IPS screen, but you never know. If you are a gamer the W3j is a better choice.

Core Duo with dedicated GPU is already available on the T60s. And will be available on the Z61 and R60 soon.

DVI on the laptop itself (the docks already have it) would be nice, but I'm not sure we'll see it for a while.

14" widescreen IPS? Does the W3J really have that?

I'd buy one if it came with dedicated graphics. :D

W3J does not have IPS screen.
    If W3J...
    • has IPS Screen
    • produces less heat
    • has IBM keyboard (w/ trackpoint)
I would get it right now if it doesn't cost over $3000.

Then I don't see what's the reason to throw W3J into the mix at all. Is the 14" widescreen mandatory? Because other than that you can get everything on a 15" T60. And I have yet to see _any_ 14" IPS panels.

I personally like the 14" z chasis better than the t series' and I prefer the widescreen.
Well than... I guess I should rephrase my statement..

I wish 14" t60 would come in z60t's chasis..... with IPS screen....

The new Lenovo 3000 N100's are widescreen and I've been reading good reviews about them. My only hesitation buying one is no eraser head. I hate touchpads.
