I'm having DX10 issues. I am running a clean install of Vista Ultimate with the 174 modded geforce drivers. When I install Spore it tells me it detects that I do not have a supported version of Direct X. I try reinstalling DX10 and when the install tries to load it fails to initialize and tells me to look at log files in the windows folder to determine the problem. I don't see those files, though now that I think of it they may be hidden.

The installer doesn't create a program group in my start menu (don't know if that's related, just odd and annoying) so I have to go launch the game from it's root folder in program files but once again get an odd error about a missing DLL. Reinstalling it does not alleviate the issue.

    Any ideas?
