It looks rediculous now since the ink crap flaked off. I want to remove it but not if its going to look worse than having a blank shiney piece.

From what I recall, the Windows sticker was the most difficult to remove. My advice: get some paint remover from a hardware store. Really good for removing sticker residue and ink/paint/whatever without damaging the surface - of anything. So, for example, if you use nail polish remover/acetone, if the surface is plastic, the acetone can eat the plastic and make it look horrible, but not paint remover. My laptop has white palmrests, so when I get pen ink or other mysterious stuff on it, I use paint remover to take it off. Works like magic. I use it all the time.

Cool, thanks all. Yeah I have some various adhesive removers because of my car. I'll probably slap some of 3Ms stuff on. Just didn't want to try in case ripping it off was going to take some of the plastic with it :D

No, that's ridiculous. Everybody knows that the Made for Windows sticker is located directly over the computer's clock. In fact, it holds the hands on. If you remove the sticker the clock speed will drop to the default "no hands" speed of 20 MHz. ;)

I love my ati + intel core 2 duo sticker.... can't say the same for the made for windows one though :p
I usually don't remove mine since it seems too difficult to. (Sticker residue).
Like the above person mentioned you can use paint remover but imho its a little too much work to just remove a sticker...no?

It may be, it just looks rediculous now since the ink flaked off.

3M adhesive remover is the best way to get rid of the crap the sticker leaves.

I always tear off the stickers as soon as I pop open the lid for the first time. The longer you wait, the worse the "shadow" will be. I've never had to use any kind of chemicals, though. The stickers usually have enough backing left to "blot" off the rest of the gunk. Give it a try!

I just removed it along with ATI's and Intel's stickers and wiped off the glue with a damp cloth.

I just ordered a T60 and hopefully it'll be here soon and was just wondering if removing the stickers would have any effect on the warranty? I want to remove the stickers first thing, but I also don't want to remove them, have a problem with the laptop, and run into trouble with Lenovo Support due to the absence of the stickers.
