    Anyone received their T61 yet?

    I was just wondering if anyone have received their T61 yet? How long does it take? I it quicker to order online or by Phone?

    Not sure. There's a few in here that have ordered it on 5/12 I believe. That may have been the earliest. I ordered mine on 5/19 and EST is 6/6.

    My estimated ship date is May 31. Not sure when I ordered it, but I've been checking it regularly and they still estimate an on-time ship date.

    i will receieve it today. i am in canada. i ordered on may 10 and it will arrive today, which is may 23, for an impressive under 2 week total wait time. i am so impressed with lenovo i can't begin to say. i got a completely loaded system for 1500 cdn plus tax. i bought the extra memory for 95 dollars too, so i can't wait for it. only bad thing: no webcam. but i'll post updates.

    For people who ordered using visaperks, what happens after to click 'submit my order' button? I accidentally went back and the page was expired. hmm.. will I receive any email confirming my order and ETA immediately or later?

    $1500? How is that possible? Even through visaperks, with a 25% off, the cheapest T61 (integrated video card, 80gb HDD, I think 1.8ghz, etc) is close to $1450. Plus tax , how can that be $1500? Can you also write down your specs please? THanks :D

    He said plus tax. I'm not sure how much tax is in canada but my computer was $1530 + $130 tax.

    Just curious did they send you an email when the laptop was shipped? So far I have got one that says it will be shipped in 3-4 weeks. Just curious if I should be expecting anymore updates from them.

    Oh, whoops, sorry. Didn't see that part. So a list of your specs would be nice.
    Tax is 14%. Used to be 15% until a couple of months ago. Oh the insanity... :cool:
