I placed an order from Lenovo Outlet on 11/30, for a refurbished S-10.
They took more than a week to send it. I finally received it this past Friday, 12/11, after receiving an e-mail the day before that it had been shipped.
As you can read in another thread, I am unhappy with one thing about this netbook--it does not have an express card slot, as I expected it would! (It is not the newer S10-2, which doesn't have that slot. It is definitely labeled as S10. (Also unhappy with the fact that I found out it has a shorter warranty due to being refurbished, and that warranty is not upgradeable.) (Paying $330 for a netbook, with tax over $350, more expensive than many new netbooks, I would at least like a one year warranty, upgradeable to more years.)
I found an S10e on Bestbuy.com for $299, which should have the express card slot, also has BT, etc, and I ordered that. It has already been shipped.
So--now I plan to call Lenovo Outlet today, to get an RMA to return the S10 they sent me. How have people's experiences been, with Lenovo returns?
Something rather strange though--I look at my credit card bill online, and there is no charge on it from Lenovo. Although the order was placed on 11/30, and they must have shipped it by 12/8 or 12/9 or so, there is no charge for it on my credit card by today, 12/14.
Could it be that they just forgot to bill me, and I could keep the computer, without ever being billed for it? Or, are they often late in billing? (I'm wondering--should I perhaps not call today for an RMA, and if they don't bill me for it, just keep it?)
Well, my guess is that they eventually will bill me for the netbook, so I should return it, so that I eventually get a refund. I probably will call today for an RMA. However, I am curious to know whether anyone else here has experienced that before--ordered and received a computer from Lenovo, without being billed? (If so, were you eventually billed?)

Looks like it has happened to others in this past week, especially those who ordered with an Amex card.
