    I just looked up my part's FRU. the LCD number is coming (it was "..." yesterday)
    but the number is strange:

    42T0426 42T0427 14.1 INCH LCD DISPLAY FRU YES

    On Lenovo's T61 manual, LG is 42T0406, Samsung is 13N7108.

    I googled 42T0427, there is no any result coming back. I guess mine might be LG, because it is not even close to Samsung's number.

    Download a program called "PC Wizard 2007." It'll tell you the exact model number of your panel. Copy the model number and google it.

    From my past experience with samsung and LG LCD's, I think this is a LG. The LCD is "not bad."

    mine is

    is this one a LG???

    PS: away from topic, i got 42T3209 , it's a ALPS right?

    Mine is the same number, but I don't have it in hands yet. Does anyone have the computer in hands and can verify which brand is this?
    Also, I asked for DVD recordable, but the parts say "RAMBO-VI CD-RW/DVD DRIVE FRU".
    Did they screw my order or this is normal?

    the 42T0425 ( with LP141WX3 on the LCD also) is a 14.1" WXGA/185 from LG Philips.

    I found 42T0341 (LG Philips) and 13N7102 (Samsung) are replacements. Try screentekinc.com, I had good luck with them... :)
