I'm pretty satisfied with my screen, but I'm hearing alot of complaints about the samsung lcd. I was just wondering what mfg makes the 42X1671 model screen? This is the 14.1 inch screen with the camera and 1440X900 resolution

I tried googling it, but I didnt have any luck

I'm seeing pretty bad light leakage on mine (14.1" 900x1440 LG). I'm curious what that looks like on yours. If you turn on the blank screensaver, is there any light leakage along the bottom (when looking at the screen dead on)?

Thank you everyone for clearing up these questions i had.

I have determined that I have an NMB keyboard(WOOHOOOO!!!!) but I have the Samsung screen :)() as Nan Na and stallen have already pointed out.

I don't have the light leakage problems when I set the blank screen saver but the vertical viewing angle is pretty much crap. I'll live with it though, all I gotta do is tilt the screen a bit :)

I also have the Samsung screen and find it more than adeguate (actually quite good) with no light leakage.

The vertical viewing on the LG (which I have) is pretty crap too, so you aren't missing much. Plus it sounds like you don't have a light leakage problem either.

I have the Samsung LCD too but find that it has a bluish cast to it (especially when compared to my 19" Samsung LCD monitor). I know others have reported this also, but does anyone know how to fix the colors just on the on the laptop without affecting the other e.g. some button on the T61 and not something changed via Windows? I found the lightness/darkness button but didn't find any to change the colors.
