    Hello everybody,
when I orderd my t410 I didn't get the smart card reader. Is there anyone out there that uses this vacant slot for any other purpose?
As some other owners of t410's have mentioned, I myself have experienced the flex/creaking when I pick up the notebook with the left parm rest. I feel its because of the empty smartcard slot beneath it.

Also, what do most of you guys do with the express card slot??? I was thinking of a tv tuner but don't have a clue about choosing a compatible one. Any other suggestions besides a tv tuner???

i'll probably end up using it for USB 3.0 one day, since most models still don't have it by default (boo intel).

if you mean the ExpressCard/32 slot, you can jam a 32 or 48 gig disk in there.

i throw all of my music & movies on a 48G card to free up space on the hard drive for "real" work
