    Hello all,

I would like to replace the spring door covering the PC card slot on my z61m. However, it seems like I need to remove the palm rest to get a good access to insert the door into its hinge.

I've searched the Lenovo website for instructions to remove the palm rest, but was unable to find anything. Does anyone on the forum know how to remove the palm rest? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Here's the Hardware guide, look under Removing and Replacing a FRU and then 1060. It's easy enough, 4 screws on the bottom, push inward on the sides, then a little up and out (away from laptop).
