Anyone jump in today's lenovo deal?

I orderd a T61 with the 10% off coupon.After I sumbmited the order, I printed out the confirmation page that indicated the total price is $ 984.10+tax. However, I just checked the order status in lenovo.com, it shows as:

SYS.7662CT CONFIGURED SYSTEM 1093.45 1 1093.45
Shipping & Handling: 0.00
Tax: 54.67
Total: 1,148.12

The 10% coupon does not reflect at all. Is this normal? thanks.

With the current lenovo discount, SPP, tailormade, and fatwallet, I'm going to save around 48%. Verrrrry nice.

 

Yikes, I was thinking about using spp and the coupon tomorrow to order a T61...

Let us know if you call and work it out, maybe the coupon worked but isn't showing for some odd reason.

 

uh... i don't think spp tailormade and fatwallet stack.

tailormade, fatwallet,and spp have 3 different entrance websites. and there's only one coupon code thing, which doesn't aply for either tailormade, fatwallet, or spp.

 

Tailormade does not require link, just use the registered card;
then you can visit lenovo through the link of fatwallet,search shareholder, then you got it.

 

What is the price in your confirmation email or order status in lenovo.com?
The coupon discount shows up in the confirmaiton page after submitting the order, but does not show up in the order status. Kind of weired.

 

CPTerm, the final order screen with the coupon applied and the summary online were the same. I think you hit another 'glitch' in the Lenovo process...

I ordered an X60 (1.83,100gb 7.2K,Thinkpad wireless, XP Pro)!!! So happy!!! They didn't send an e-mail confirmation, but the correct amount was held on my AMEX card and the online status shows IN PROCESS with the correct price and a 6/21 ship date.

Anyone know if it was worth it for me to get the extra $33.15 Next Day 9X5 On-Site Service for 1 year??? Someone told me not to get it, but I did anyways :\

I also used AMEX which is supposed to give me 1 extra year protection.

Thoughts?

I called just now.The CSR said some problem occured to some people using the e coupon, and he would input the coupon for me but I need wait for up to 48 hrs to see the price change since the order was sent to warehouse. After he made the change, he would send me a new confirmation email.

I also saw some other similar cases in another forum. Some said the CSR told them as long as you have an confirmation page showing a lower price, you can do the cost adjustment all the time. SO, Please keep the confirmation page or print it after you submit the order.

 

can somone please explain how to do spp (and what is it?) tailormade and fatwallet? how much does it take to sighn up for these and would it be worth it to me to cancel my 5/14 t61 order and make a new one to take advantage of them?
