Trying to find out if anyone actually owns a Thinkpad L450? The few real-user reviews I can find on the web are scattergraphic - from "worst garbage ever" to "wow what a pleasant surprise". Similarly, pricing for seemingly the exact same model/specs are border to border - from sub $300 to $700'ish -listing at over $1000

If you have real knowledge I'd love to ask a few simple questions....

I have tried it a couple times in a Lenovo store. L450 is essentially like a cheaper version of the T450. Its thicker, the case is all made out of plastic with the internal Magnesium roll-cage missing (they do put some other metal reinforcement in to prevent flexing). No backlit keyboard, and no internal battery, but it does offer most other business features of the T450. The FHD IPS display used here is less bright then the FHD IPS screen in T450.

Its a solid model, though admittedly not very attractive for most consumer buyers.

L460 was just released, featuring the same chassis with Skylake CPUs now: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/thinkpad/l-series/l460/
