Anyone have experience with IBMFactoryOutlet?

I don't have time to get a custom made T400 and IBMFactoryOutlet has a number of good deals on T400s with LED screens, which don't seem to be available elsewhere. However I'm a little leary to buy on EBay, having heard all the horror stories.

Has anyone here purchased from IBMFactoryOutlet? How were they?

if yes, then i brought one couple of days ago, a t500. it arrived in 4 business days. i got a new loaded one for 1000$. good place to purchase.

Did you check the link the previous poster gave you? If you run the numbers on those brand new laptops you are basically getting T and R series machines for at least 30%-50% off.

No offense, but considering Thursday is a holiday, it is very unlikely the poster will get a box shipped by the outlet and received by Friday the 28th when his family needs it in order to bring it to him. I placed an order on Friday and the expected ship date is listed as the 28th.

Are there some great deals in the outlet, yes. But will they ship in time to be received on the 28th...seems unlikely.
