Just want to see how many people here have noticed the price drop and are asking for price match done....beside some people who haven't noticed the recent price drops could be aware of it.

I saved a bit more than 300$ from the price match

I tried to get my price match but the sales rep said that it would stop my order 3-4 days. I e-mailed and called 2 times and they told me to do it after the laptop ships. I guess I am having bad luck and getting all the bad sales rep that won't put the extra effort to help me like you guys

I saved less because I already saved a lot on my original order on AUG 5th with student + 15% coupon.....but this one I only had the CPP

My first rep was also bad....so I call the rep (left him a msg and he called back) that took care of my order when I had to cancel and reorder to change to components.....he said he would compare the prices.....but he will only do it once my order is shipped and I call back to him on that day.....then the credit will charge me the full price and refund the differences.

You can only get a price match done once in the 21 days after a purchase. So why not just configure whatever notebook you bought, and then convert the price to a quote. That way, if the price does go up in coming weeks, you'll be able to use the price that you had saved. However, say the price goes down and you've already used your one opportunity to adjust your price, you will not be able to have Lenovo adjust your price again in those 21 days. My advice is to wait until the latter days of your price adjustment period and keep saving quotes until you can make sure you'll be getting the best deal.

I don't think coupons work on SPP/CPP because you get the best price anytime and that is including with like 2 coupons stacked in regular or student
