    I got my T61 for the brief period they offered the wireless USB/UWB option. I don't know if they even offer this anymore. Anyway, I have the technology. Can anyone share what amazing things they have done with it.

    About all I can find are wireless USB hubs. I suppose you can connect what ever you want into a wireless hub and control it the same way as if it were actually plugged into the laptop with a physical cord.

    So what are you doing with your wireless USB? What hubs and accessories have you had success with?

    it's now an option under the Thinkpad T61p 15.4'', and I think we don't have that many devices to take advantage of it. In a few months that may change.

    WUSB=UWB in this case.

    I haven't found any peripherals yet and don't know (and don't think) the current generation of WUSB hubs would even be compatible with our laptops. Further, the hub is basically a half way point. What we really need is the WUSB transcievers built into the end devices (mouse, hard drive, monitor, etc) themselves.

    How would this be functionally different from bluetooth? Just another standard for the same functions - blah!

    Probably much higher transfer rates and bluetooth never gave the options of having a hub to plug in your printer, camera, mouse, tablet, etc.
