My new Thinkpad sometimes gets bright white stuck pixels randomly, it's not a huge problem because they go away in about 10 to 15 minutes, but it's been happening pretty often about 3 to 4 times a week. There also seems to be no consistency they show up in random spots, sometimes in the middle of the screen other times the top and it seems to happen when I watch videos on full screen most of the time. Can anyone provide some insight?

send it back before the warranty expires, those few bright spots could lead to more and more bright spots which = not good

Had the same problem. You need to go into the ultra nav controls (F7 or F8 I think) and disable the touchpad function for scroll feature (you know, when you run your finger along the track pad edge to make a web page scroll down). I did that and disabled the red track point too since I don't use it and then rebooted, then you won't have that problem anymore. I'm sure as long as you at least disable the scroll feature that should be fine. It's a software issue with the ultranav I believe.
