I'm thinking of getting a 1080P LCD TV for my XBox 360 and to hook up my T61P for media watching. I have a Nvidia Quadro FX 570M, 128MB RAM, but my maximum resolution on the laptop is 1400 x 1050. I assume the video card itself could render this higher resolution through its VGA connection, but would standard (just any) drivers let me go to 1900 x 1200 on an external monitor, or would I need to use a different set (which ones) to do so?

I have the 256mb 570m and have ran it at 1900x1200 on a 26" LCD. Worked fine. (Westinghouse LCD)
