If the regular Z60m screen is already pretty bright according to the initial reviews, how good is the MaxBright? Has anybody actually seen one? Who is the manufacturer of the LCD? Seems that, at 300 nits, it should be one of the brightest matte screens, even better than the Asus Z60Va. This would be good news for those of us who don't want to go to reflective, glare-type displays, e.g., Sony, Fujitsu, HP, etc.
Another question will be how does the MaxBright compare with the Thinkpad 15 inch FlexView screen on the T43/43, which is rated at 200 nits but has the wide-viewing angle technology. According to the Thinkpad manual, the regular XGA 15 inch T43 display is also rated at 200 nits (as is the Z60t), but I have heard criticism of the relative dimness of both of these displays, so I wonder about the accuracy of the ratings. The manual rates the regular T43 14.1 inch display at 150 nits, yet it doesn't seem dimmer than the Z60t, right? But that would be "nit" picking. (Sorry!)
I guess we will find out soon. :buyIBM:

I've been asking the same questions for a while now. No real evidence yet, gotta wait...

I have a Z60m WSXGA+ screen notebook at the current time, the screen is great, good brightness, but it is not the MaxBright type screen.
Anybody Seen a MaxBright Yet?
