This moring 9am I called Lenovo to cancel a order placed on Saturday PM (esd. 8/23). Was told they already received confimation from warehouse so can't guarantee it not be shipped. I understand I can always return unopened, but was very surprised a weekend order got already confirmed by warehouse Monday 9am! Is there a way to stop it from being shipped? (if not, I wonder what other cancellation could avoid shipment?!)

just reject it at the door, no need to get an RMA or anything, they just credit you automatically

After you place your order with Dell, you can cancel anytime during the 6 months before they actually ship.

I know eventually I'll get the money back but just find it difficult to accept the fact that a shipment can't be stopped so early on. It would save everybody's trouble--the shipper, Lenovo return dept., me of course. I don't believe they can't do anything about it NOW. If I call back tomorrow they can say it's too late.

don't reject it at the door, it will take longer to get your refund. Accept the item, call up lenovo for an RMA and then send it back.
