AS the title suggests,
Is there a way to install a fresh copy of XP but keep the R&R hidden partition and make the R&R active (get blue button functional) after the fresh install?
Ultimately, what I'd love to do is to create a R&R based on a stock XP install (nlite-d to my liking, removing many windows components that aren't necessary), and replace the Lenovo R&R ...
Not sure if that's possible at all...
Cheers!

I don't know how to create a custom R&R partition, but you can install XP and maintain the original RnR partition.
Just install XP without removing the factory partition. The MBR will be corrupt and you won't be able to enter the RnR pre-boot environment. But you can repare the MBR. Just follow this post: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=213168
Also, here's a great thread on how to make a clean XP install: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=188992
Any way to keep R&R hidden partition on fresh XP?
