Has anyone heard anything about Lenovo coming out with a widescreen version of laptop in the same class as the X60S? If so, is that likely to be anytime soon?

    Any plan for a 19"/20" T or Z?
Even 17" is good. EVEN N100 is good
My mom wants a big screen, I want a ThinkPad (including 3000), so I don't know how to comprise in 1 single machine.

You could always get a Thinkpad and buy an LCD. At those sizes your portability is gone anyways.

I don't think a widescreen X series is coming anytime soon. There will be a widescreen 14" T61 though.

The Z series are being discontinued.
