This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Any news if Lenovo is abandoning the stupid off-center screen design?

    It's not as if other notebook brands are perfect-- the HP Elitebook 8530p has a very left sided looking touchpad if you ask me. That would bug me a lot more than my barely noticeable off center screen.

    I own a T61 4:3 unit. I have swapped the entire LCD and housing from a T60.

    Fits perfectly. Probably the only T61 laptop in the world what does not have an off-center screen.
