This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Any new X301 on its way?

    I recently found out the X301 is discontinued, will Lenovo launch a new similar model to this one?

    the T400s and T410s are the closest replacements.

    those who know of any future models can't talk.   all i can recommend is not getting your hopes up.

    I'm not able to locate the link - apparently, the x301 is going to be discontinued and will be replaced by the T4xx series. There will be no upgrades to the x3xx series.

    But the T4 series is not similar, 1,77kg vs 1,33kg.

    As Erik said the 'closet replacement', it is not the direct replacement.... there is a difference.

    There will be no X301 successor in the current product planning, if there was it would have been released a while ago.
