    The Barnes & Noble Gold program is always pretty good, but I don't know of any exceptional discounts on the X230 at the moment on top of that.

    You just recently missed the an amazing deal that reduced the X230 starting price to $600 when you used it + the B&N program. Since that just happened, it's unlikely that they will have any really good deals for at least a month.

    Buying a Lenovo is worst than buying a used car. Nobody ever pays the list price and are left to chase down deals. It's fun but not really.

    Same performance, the T430s has a 14" screen with option of 1600 x 900 resolution upgrade but the screen is mediocre. The X230 has a 12" with IPS screen option that offers excellent viewing.

    Long story short, made a mistake in my specs(my fault), sold off what I received at a break-even price (for fast sales).

    Reordered a couple of days ago, but order was cancelled on their side ?!?! Did not receive any form of notification till I checked myself just a couple of hours ago.

    Tried to have them allow me to reorder at same price, but was refused as the sales was just over 24hrs ago.
    Its getting a little expensive now..

    paging for Andrew :D .... any tips on if any good coupons would come up in a week or 2?
    Getting a quote doesn't quite work for me, so can't lock in the price as most others can.
