...Because if so I'm about to join your ranks ;oD
I got truly attached to my e530, but it's dying due to windows updates :( so I found a good deal on this laptop, which is a sizeable upgrade while being similar in terms of interface and that.

    A few questions:

    - The Lenovo datasheet suggests that I can downgrade to Win7 Pro :D Is that correct? Does that bring the famous FP reader security issues back? Lenovo say they fixed it, but I'm not convinced.

    - Are there play/pause buttons in the top row of the keyboard (as with older TPs)? if not, can I map some to that?

    - How is the screen (really)?

    - My model is European, but I also need to use it in the UK area. Can I use the power cord (not the brick) from my E530? Are they compatible? (I have a high-quality adapter, but can't find it atm.)

    - I don't know if my order contains the second battery. How long does the first one last?

That's all for now. I really hope this works out, as it would be nice to have a machine that doesn't make weird noises or take ages to load anything. TIA for answers :)

Oh, one more thing: I've been hearing a lot about Lenovo putting a lot of anti-privacy-ware in TPs since I bought my last one. Do they affect the T560? And if so, what can I do about it? <: )

The UK lead should be compatible with all 3 pin laptop adaptors and that includes ThinkPad chargers.
