Can anyone give me Lenovo x200 coupon code? thx!
-
sadly don't think so, besides using cpp.
deciding to return my u330 and getting the x200, ordered yesterday, expected ship date of 10/13....not too bad -
USEXSERIES
Save an extra 5%, stacks with CPP. Ends today, September 29.
You're welcome. -
That didn't worked,but still thx!
other suggestions? -
Canada, US or some other country? Coupons are different for each country... or at least for CAN and US.
-
USPGREATSAVINGS
Expires: 10/4/2008
valid for US, I just tried it as I'm ordering one myself -
coupon worked just fine for me, saved an extra $60 off the already 20% discount, plus the cpp discount -
-
-
nvm.. google is my friend LOL
-
by the way, the USEXSERIES coupon still works and still stacks with CPP as i have just tried it
-
-
It still works? Huh, figures.
I guess the best way to make shipping faster is fiddling with the configuration and adding it to your cart. Perhaps the fingerprint reader and 9-cell are causing some of that. -
nope, i have ordered/canceled 3 seperate times now because i have added things such as the fingerprint reader and the intel turbo memory, etc - and it has always been october 13th/14th, regardless of those things added, or not (bluetooth, etc)
don't worry: finally settled with my config/coupon codes
which 2 weeks is definitely better then what i waited for the u330, which was 36 days -
same here.. so in the end i made slight mods and just now ordered this:
-
The x200s is also on CPP now - decisions decisions...x200 or x200s....sigh. I hate being addicted to laptop technology
Tom -
well the x200s is underpowered, and the same specs my config below is $600 more (the sl9400 on the x200s compared to the p8400 on the x200).
i know the screen is better with LED and 1400x900 and it is 3/4 lb lighter and better battery life.
but those 3 things to me, are far from worth $600 more....but thats just me - plus i want a full powered laptop, although i am impressed with the sl9400 being 1.86ghz and having double the cache as the p8400 while still retaining a lower TDP -
hmm.. taking a second look @ x200s + x30X.. Any idea how to cancel my order if I decide to?
-
easy, just call and give them your order number. just make sure you cancel before it ships (its ok if you cancel and then it still ships) but if it ships first, technically your suppose to have a 15% restocking fee....but the customer usually always wins meaning bit*ch and bit*ch and bit*ch
-
-
if you mean non american/with an accent - have never talked to anyone once with even a slight accent actually.
i believe you just call 1-866-96-think....then option 4, then option 2
have to still cancel another order actually cuz i changed my config again -
How is the LED on the x200s compared to the screen on the x200? I'm a big LED fan and not sure I'd use anything but LEDs now...
If the screens are not vastly different, it might make sense to go the x200 route and get the faster proc, unless the sl9400 is as fast as the p8600, or at least close.
Thoughts?
Tom -
well suprisingly, the sl9400 is pretty fast being 1.86ghz....so about 540mhz slower in clock speed (340 for p8400) but the sl9400 has double the cache. For anyone looking at the x200s....buying the su9300 and not paying the extra $75 for the sl9400 is in 2 words: extremely stupid ....its 600mhz slower which is quite alot, more than half the cache and roughly 30% less fsb speed
so yes, the p8600 will indeed be faster, but the sl9400 will be quite fast too and only a medium noticeable difference (small dif for p8400)....and the sl9400 will be greater battery life because of the lower power. (if Apple is smart, they would put that in the macbook air refresh, it draws less power than their current cpu and is Definitely faster)
but since the 200s is about $600 more than the 200, just don't see it justified (although i love LED screens too)....even with the lighter weight, led/higher res screen/better battery life
if i need more than 9 hours of battery life - i need a new life -
kind of like dell's employee purchase program, but against notebookreview's rules to talk about it, so cannot explain how to get into it, etc
-
wait, how can i cancel my order online???
-
unreal... ON HOLD for 45 minutes so far!!!! Priority line my ***!!! this is why I want to be able to cancel order online!
-
what a joke.. I'm STILL on hold... no frickin answer after 1h17m!!!!!!
-
I cancelled my order, received a confirmation, but they still billed and shipped it. Terrible customer service!
-
all depends on when you canceled it - they send a cancel request to the shipping people, if you canceled late, they don't get it until its in process of shipping.
same thing happened to me for HP, but i didn't mind just shipped it back, easy as pie or cake or whatever you think is easy....like making sandwiches -
Their laptops could be amazing, but their CS sucks... I was on hold for 2h had to hang up and go through options to place and order (and coincidentally) my phone was answered in 10 minutes!!! -
still CPP is cheaper. just tried it...
Estimated total: $1,892.44*
Total savings $890.56
vs
Estimated total: $2,003.76*
Total savings $779.24 -
USEXSERIES isn't working for me. Does that only work if you have a CPP passcode?
-
nvrmind
still waiting on an x301 coupon to come along. -
you just call and they cancel it for you and then the link the original email you got when you ordered will not work anymore....basically your order status page when you check it, is dissapeared -
the money also appear to be on hold (paid in full via paypal)
anyhow, I called them again today and they said that their system shows the Oct-1 cancellation request and it should be reflected shortly.. -
