I just got my T42 and can't connect to my Netgear wireless router at home. I can connect to others that are showing up, but not mine. Anybody have similar problems, solutions?

    Thanks

Oh yeah. My post is below yours. IBM released its latest driver for the Wireless A/B/G on January 11, 2005 (I have the date memorized), but I don't know if it helps or not. You might start there. Go to IBM Support, follow the prompts, and see if you can find the updated driver.

I tried the netswitcher that was referred to me below. I have not had the time to use it properly, I guess. I can find a signal but cannot always connect to it.

    Good luck.

I downloaded the latest drivers, and still not working. I seem to connect to other unsecured connections that I find just fine, but not my Netgear router. Bstayton---is this the same case, is it just one specific one you can't connect to. I don't know what else to do. Anybody else have a problem with Netgear router?

I use a Linksys router at home. Haven't had the time to try out the system on other routers. Sorry, no help from me there.

IBM eventually told me it's a hardware problem. I don't want to send my machine back, since my old computer has been passed downstream. I hope you aren't having the same hardware issue.
