The sale is the same for the R and X series. Changed a little for the T series:

But eCoupon hasn't improved. I was hoping they would bring back the 20% of ecoupon they had in March. Debating whether I should wait for a better sale before I buy the X61
Here is a history of their sales:

Thanks for informing. it's now 28 % for T series.

something starts to smell wrong.. are they trying to get rid of the 61 series or something?? -
BTW, if i use a coupon that is valid until today, and i save my cart, will i get the same price even if i open the cart and buy it next week?
-
here is what I think, lenovo have those sales going on all time of the year. and almost at the same rates. so if you buy during April discount or back to school sale or when there is no advertised sale but benefit from Amex 20% sale it will all even up and eventually you wont save more than 80 bucks no matter how long you wait. -
Anyone think the rumored X61/s replacements (i.e. X200) is going to stay around $1000 after all sales and ecoupons? Personally, I highly doubt it considering eCoupons are not applicable on the X300. I would guess the price of the X200 would be around $1500 when it comes out and then probably in early 2009, it drop to $1000. Just my guess.

This sale doesn't seem nearly as good as their previous sale. I had a T61 with a certain configuration I have been keeping an eye on for awhile. That same configuration now costs an extra $225 from what it did yesterday. While the actual percentage of the sale has increased, the price of every single component upgrade (and when I say every, I mean EVERY, with the exception of Office 2007) has gone up. So after the additional percentage is applied, I am now paying quite a bit more than I would have had I ordered yesterday.
No Thanks! -
I just checked and found the t61 ws confguration I ordered about 3 weeks ago is currently about $12.00 more expensive through cpp once the discounts are applied, (977.00 instead of 965.00). However, If I would have bought a more expensive system the discount % would have been a bit more because of the pay more/save more incentive.

Am I missing something then? I'm using the ibmepp so I'm not aware of any other deals that would stack on that. On Monday the below configuration for a T61 widescreen cost 1286.86, now it costs 1510.01. I think I'm above the threshold for the full savings.

Guys use USPGRANDSLAM as your ecoupon for an extra 10% savings on top of your 28% discount. That's about 8% more discount than last weeks. Best deal in my opinion. I used it to upgrade my T61P to wwan since I'm already with verizon. Got this for 1355.18. This is not a deal, but more like a STEAL! lol

Man...my order got canceled for no apparent reason. I'll have to call tomorrow to find out what is going on. This is the 2nd time my order got canceled. The first time was an order through the outlet. I'm getting kind of pissed off.
Another Lenovo "sale"...how long are they going to keep extending it
