I was wondering...the rep on the phone with Lenovo said that I could either go for the anniversary rebate coupon OR the university discount but not both but what is stopping me from ordering the computer through university discount and then using the rebate coupon? If I'm not mistaken, all you need for the rebate coupon is the UPC and the receipt, no? Can I count on doing this or just forgo the student discount (since the anniversary sale is so much better)?

most often coupons are not valid when combined with other offers. just go for the anniversary discount.
