Hey guys, I just posted info in the Notebook and Tech Bargains forum about the American Express deal for the T400s ($999). You'll need to have an American Express card to purchase this thing at 3PM EST today (Cyber Monday). I think the sale only lasts for about an hour. They also have the T500 on sale too.

    OK, here's the link:

    http://dailywish.amexnetwork.com/

Click on the 3rd tab "Sale 3: LENOVO" then on the right you should see both the T400s ($999) and T500 ($649) will be available for purchase at 3pm EST today (11/30/2009)

That's a pretty good deal if you're in market for a T400s. Thanks for posting.

The BMW for $16K seemed like a better deal given the discount.

Those bimmers cannot be normal bimmers. If you read the fine print said somehting about colors available at the time. Could also have slight damage for a new car etc. No one would sell a new car at that type of discount and neitehr they nor BMW is getting much publicity out of it so that cant be the reason.
