im a pretty big fan of this forum and after a long time of research i'v decided to purchase a t60p through my college store 2 weeks ago. i don't know much and i cant track the package, all i was told was that it would take 1-2 weeks for delivery. hence the problem. what worries me more is that there has been no charge onto my credit card with which i purchased the laptop. im trying to contact the college about the shipment since i cant personally track it.
to other t60/p owners, did you have this problem? i realize lenovo's notorious for late shipments but should i be worried about the yet-to-exist-charge? has lenovo/college "forgotten" my purchase?
i hope i dont hafta ditch my purchase and settle with an >8lb m90.... =[

They typically don't charge you until you receive the notebook.

the lenovo line told me when I purchased my thinkpad was that they will charge my credit card when it's shipped. not when it's ordered, since they take about 18 business days usually to ship one.
