I would say that you got a pretty good deal. I wouldn't worry too much about it, although if you are on the go a lot (which I can fairly safely say you probably are) I would think about investing in a larger battery. Just my $0.02.

I think that was a pretty good deal to be honest. Like shoelace_510 said though, I'd buy a bigger battery as I've heard the battery life isn't that great with the 4 cell. Also, perhaps upgrade your RAM as well (you will need to check the memory configuration - if they put 2 sticks or 1 stick in there before you get the RAM to upgrade / replace it).

Yeah, even though you are going with XP 2 GB of RAM is nice and considering RAM is the cheapest it has been in a long time it is well worth it performance-wise.

If you can wait, then wait. Prices will always go lower as time passes, so just get the laptop when you really need it.

There's always a better deal around the corner... labor day, thanksgiving, Xmas... at some point you've gotta bite the bullet and get on with life

these number are no help.
You need to get the FRU numbers off your unique configuration.
You'll be able to get the system component FRU numbers breakdown only after your order get a serial number assigned. -
