    Alive Idea Desktop removal

    i recently got a lenovo ideapad y550..i have noticed that it comes with Alive Idea Desktop. It is constantly running in the background and takes memory. What things get affected if i delete it? will the touchscreen dock go away? also what programs do u guys recommend i delete that came with this laptop? there is a lot of bloatware.

    same exact problem here - exact same machine and a whole assload of preload software/bloatware. i too am having trouble finding out what exactly the Alive! Idea Desktop is and what it will affect once removed.

    Check to see if it is listed under your installed applications. If it is you can likely remove it without problem but make sure you create a restore point before you take it off the machine just in case.

    not sure..
    i am on a clean install of windows 7 on my ideapad y530
    and only drivers i have are the audio and display..
    the touch controls still work for me!
